Driver HelperWe have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Driver Helper in Romulus!We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every elevated floor and in the sky. With our three business segments, Airline Catering, International Event Catering, Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 33 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly – sometimes beyond our own expectations.Responsibilities:Assist drivers with loading, off-loading, pick-up and delivery of goods and materialsLoad/unload aircraft according to airline and DO & CO regulations and specifications and ensure flights are always catered correctly.Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and reports any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.Comply with all Airport and Airlines and other applicable rules/regulations.Comply with food, safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook and report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.Perform other duties as assigned by management.In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of DO&CO.Maintain safety workplaceDecimates general information to the public and other concerned parties regarding department policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local lawsOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:Capable to work independently as well as in a team environmentRequirements necessary to obtain airport IDMust Pass a criminal background checkWill be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noiseMajority of duties performed outside in all weather conditionsMust be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supply up to seventy-five (75) poundsMust be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feetRegularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hoursCommunicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workersWhat We Offer:Competitive Pay $18.50Daily Complimentary Meals (Lunch and Dinner).FT employees are eligible for 401K and medical benefits: medical, dental, and vision.An organization dedicated to fostering innovation; in pursuit of cultivating creativity, embracing new ideas and leveraging our impeccable standard for hospitality.Genuine career development opportunities, both nationally and internationally.The chance to collaborate and represent a leading force in the luxury global gourmet entertainment industry by attending world-class events.DO & CO provides equal employment opportunities.
